Nonostante i 3 mesi almeno di ritardo rispetto alla data di rilascio finalmente Hello, People! è stato distribuito e stà pian piano raggiungendo tutta Italia.
People Video è una nostra produzione dedicata allo skateboarding o più banalmente un video di skateboard. Orgoglisamente fatto da e con italiani e diretto da Fabio Liguori, contiene circa 39 minuti di action video filmati in giro per l’europa da Fabio Liguori, Sergio Minnci e Nicola Montanari con alcuni dei migliori talenti del nostro paese. ( per dovere di cronaca date un occhio anche alla lista completa dei crediti)
Il video è distribuito su DVD in 10.000 copie, in box da 25 pezzi presso tutti i punti gli skate/snow/surf shop italiani, e in alcuni paesi europei in quantità decisamente inferiori.

People Video, così è stata battezzata la produzione, sarà disponibile a “puntate” sul web tramite il podcast, attraverso YouTube, Shred or Die e SkatteMap. Sul nuovo web trovate tutte le infos del caso

People non ha una periodicità fissa, ed esiste perchè frutto di sinergie tra persone, idee e voglia di fare. Quando tutte queste cose si manifesteranno nuovamente, insieme ad un buon buget, allora sarà la volta di People II.

Questa prima, inaugurale edizione è stata realizzata in collaborazione con: Bastard, Emerica, Alai Skateboards, Nike SB, Fallen, DC shoes ed Etnies.

After 1 year of “work in progress” page, i decided to put online some of our photo, it’s a random choice from our photos made with F-spot export tool.

It’s only a very small part, without galleries, descriptions and comments, but it’s better than a “coming soon” text in a white page.

I hope to finish the new version before Christmas…

When we started in 1999 our company name was “fourA” but we was used to sign our work as SOOLID. In 2004 we changed the legal name into SOOLID. We also had a logo, an ancestor of current SOOLIDcube®, but still OUR logo, the graphic signature of our works, something that evolved during these years reflecting our changes. It sucked we know, but it was (and will be) OUR logo.

Some years ago we met a guy, carlo, in charge of marketing in a braking disk company in Milan, who asked us to redesign the company’s website. (we didnt the work but it’s not important now). Some month ago this guy wrote me asking if the soolid lettering was built from a font or from scratch. He told me also that he started a small design studio in Brazil.

Thanks to a friend call i knew some minutes ago that , yes, Carlo has started a companay, but not a design studio, a sort of clothing/surf company named… yes, S00LID and what about the logo ? Off course, our first one, rotated and red/white painted !

Good luck Carlo, this is a good example on how export italian style and originality Maybe we’ll get in touch with you one of these days. Send us one of your original t-shirts..
